A Warm Welcome from Your PTO!

Dear WIS Families,

Welcome to the 2025–26 school year! I hope you had a wonderful summer and that the transition back to school has been a good one. I’m so excited to meet each and every one of you—especially our incoming 3rd grade families. We’re so glad you’re here!

My name is Stephanie Feingold, and it’s truly a privilege to serve as your PTO President again this year! I’m mom to Zacky in 5th grade, along with a 7th and 10th grader—and a big flock of chickens! I’m dedicated to helping WIS feel like a place where our kids are joyful, connected, and inspired—and where they create some of their best childhood memories.

We have a fantastic PTO board that is eager to partner with you and our teachers to make this a year full of community, enrichment, and fun!

This year, WIS families can look forward to:

  • Beloved grade-wide traditions like the 3rd Grade Kickball Tournament, 4th Grade Glow Party, and 5th Grade Sweetheart Dance

  • All-school favorites including Bingo Night and Grit Ninja

  • New community-building events that celebrate our diversity and give back in meaningful ways (more to come soon!)

I hope each of you will join the PTO. Membership makes everything possible—from funding enrichment programs to creating opportunities that spark curiosity, build friendships, and make WIS a place kids love. Simply by joining, you help strengthen the spirit of connection that makes our school so special.

Jamboree Details

For Weston’s 238th Founders Day, we’re marking the moment with guitars, good vibes, and a town-wide sing-along like nothing you’ve seen before.

Join us for Strum and Sing: Weston’s Musical Jamboree on Saturday, October 11 at 4:00 PM at Town Hall Park—where dozens of our town’s acoustic guitarists will accompany Town residents in song. It’s going to be joyful and pure old school Weston magic.

Whether you can shred, strum, or simply sway to the beat, come be part of this one-of-a-kind community event, brought to you by the Weston Commission for the Arts.

Want in on the guitar crew?

Email your fellow parent Jesse at thewestonjamboree@gmail.com to sign up—you’ll get early access to song choices and chord charts. ALL OVER 10 YEARS OF AGE WELCOME!

BONUS: Everyone who signs up will be entered into a giveaway for free guitar lessons at Bach to Rock Ridgefield.

So tune up, show up, and let’s make some beautiful music together!
