The WIS PTO will introduce a new tradition on Saturday, February 1, 2026, with its first-ever Community Service Day: WIS Wolf Pack Gives Back. From 12–3 PM at WIS, students in grades 3–5 and their families will spend an afternoon engaged in hands-on service projects that strengthen community connections and highlight the impact of giving.
Families will work together to create items and care packages for 20+ local organizations, including animal shelters, food pantries, senior centers, children’s hospitals, and homelessness outreach programs. Projects will have immediate, tangible impact — from making dog toys and blankets to decorating flower pots and cards, to assembling diaper bundles, toiletry kits, and blankets.
As a signature activity, families will partner with End Hunger New England to assemble 10,000 meals on a collaborative assembly line, giving students a powerful, hands-on experience in helping others.
The event will also include on-site collection drives supporting a range of local needs so start saving books, non-perishable foods, baby clothing, and more!
We are so glad you can join us for WIS Service Day!
