Volunteers are the heart of the WIS PTO! Whether you have one hour or one hundred, your time and talents help create memorable experiences for our students, support our teachers and staff, and strengthen our school community.

 

Please review the brief descriptions below and select any volunteer opportunities that interest you. This is not a commitment—it's simply a way to let us know where you'd like to learn more. Your contact information will be shared with the appropriate PTO Board member or committee chair, who will reach out with additional details as plans come together.

Event Opportunities

Help plan and execute or support a PTO event!

3rd Grade Kickball
Help plan and run a fun afternoon of kickball, games, and activities for 3rd grade students and their families.
4th Grade Glow Party
Assist with organizing a high-energy glow-themed celebration with music, decorations, games, and refreshments.
5th Grade Sweetheart Dance
Help create a memorable evening for 5th graders and their special adults through decorations, activities, and event support.
BINGO Family Game Night
Help organize and run one of our favorite family events, including setup, prizes, concessions, and game support.
Math Family Game Night
Plan and facilitate an engaging evening of hands-on math games and activities that bring families together.
Book Fair
Help set up, assist shoppers, and support students and families during the annual school book fair.
Future Leaders Fair
Help organize a career exploration event by coordinating presenters, activities, and event logistics.
Heritage Fair
Support a celebration of our diverse community by helping families share their cultures, traditions, and experiences.
Service Day
Help organize a school-wide community service initiative that gives students meaningful opportunities to give back.
Parent Social Event
Help organize a fun opportunity for WIS parents to connect and build community outside of school.
Memorial Day Fair
Join the team that helps coordinate WIS's participation in Weston’s annual Memorial Day Fair.

Garden
Help maintain and beautify the school's gardens through seasonal planting, cleanup, and care.
Hallway Art & Design
Create welcoming hallway displays, seasonal decorations, and bulletin boards that brighten the school.
Spirit Wear Pop-Ups
Help sell WIS spirit wear at school events and assist with merchandise displays and inventory.
Remote Volunteer Opportunities
Square 1 Art
Coordinate the student art fundraiser by organizing artwork collection, ordering, and family communications.
School Experiences Auction
Help organize and promote special teacher- and school-sponsored experiences that raise funds for the PTO.
Other Volunteer Opportunities
Webster Appearance
Bring Webster the Wolf to life by wearing the mascot costume at school events and helping spread school spirit.
Flowers for Concerts
Coordinate and sell flower bouquets before school concerts as a fundraiser for the PTO.
