The Scholastic Book Fair Is Coming to WIS!
October 5-9, 2026
Get ready for the Best. Week. Ever! The Scholastic Book Fair is bringing the newest gotta-read books, bestselling series, favorite characters, and plenty of exciting discoveries to WIS.
It’s one of our favorite weeks of the year and a wonderful opportunity to help your child discover new books, build their home library, and get excited about reading. Even better, every purchase supports our school!
📚 Book Fair Dates: October 5–9
📍 Location: Library Learning Commons
Students will have the opportunity to shop the Book Fair with their classes during the school week and parents are welcome to join—and we have two special opportunities for families to join the fun outside of school hours, too!
FAMILY SHOPPING
Rise & Shop
Wednesday, October 7 | 7:45–8:25 AM
Start your morning with books! Families are invited to stop by before school and shop the Book Fair together.
Book Party
Thursday, October 8 | 5:00–7:30 PM
Make it a family night at WIS! Shop the Book Fair together, then head outside for a picnic with WIS friends and families in the courtyard.
JBB Woodfire Pizza & Pasta Truck and The Baking Project cake pops will be available for purchase, so you can grab dinner and dessert after you shop.
Set Up Your Child’s eWallet
Want an easy, cash-free way for your child to shop independently with their class? Set up a Book Fair eWallet through our Fair homepage.
It’s quick and easy to create, and family and friends can contribute funds, too. Your child can then use their eWallet balance when it’s their turn to shop—no cash to remember!
Please print the eWallet confirmation and send it to school with your child. Any remaining eWallet balance under $1 will automatically be donated to Share the Fair.

Share the Fair
This year, our Book Fair can help spread the joy of reading beyond WIS.
Through Share the Fair™, families can round up their purchase to help us provide books to students at our sister school, Curiale School in Bridgeport. It’s a simple way to make your Book Fair purchase go a little further and help put more books into the hands of children in our broader community.
